Financial Peace University

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church of Fayetteville is offering the class through the Servant Leadership School in the Parish Hall on the corner of Dickson & College. As participants work through a Total Money Makeover plan, the average family pays off $5,300 in debt and saves $2,700 in the first 91 days after beginning FPU and is completely out of debt, except for the mortgage, in 18 to 24 months.  Dave Ramsey, founder, began teaching FPU classes in 1994 in Nashville. In Fayetteville, the Dave Ramsey radio show can be accessed on KFAY 1030 AM radio 5-7 p.m. CST daily.

The program is made up of 13 life-changing lessons taught by Dave Ramsey.  After each lesson the group meets to help each other plan budgets, discuss successes and temptations, and support each other in their journey to beat debt and build wealth. Topics covered include:

Course tuition is at a discounted church rate of $100. Included in the cost of the kit is a lifetime family membership to FPU, an FPU workbook, an FPU envelope system, 13 audio lessons, bonus CD, budgeting forms, debit card holders, and Ramsey’s best-selling book – Financial Peace: Revisited.

Rodger Lecy is a Real Estate Agent with Weichert –Griffin Real Estate in Fayetteville, AR.  Rodger retired from AT Yellow Pages after 21 years in sales and sales management. Rodger has an MBA from University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is completing certification for his Graduate Realtor Institute designation and Broker’s license. He is a teacher at heart.
