Healing Service and Ministries

Loss of health, hope, or direction reminds us with a special urgency
of our dependence on God, and of our interdependence in helping to bridge the separation that afflicts all of us.
St. Paul's ministry for healing continues to serve persons seeking reconciliation
and wholeness through the intercession of Christ's presence in the church. Lay members pray with others as the need arises
at the church, in private homes, nursing homes or hospitals. In addition lay minsters assist the clergy in the weekly offering
of healing services on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. This service continues to draw persons from outside the parish and remains an
important part of our outreach.
Sheila Steele, along with her husband
Ken, was a founding member of this ministry. Her quiet strength, vital faith and gentle presence were an inspiration to us
and she leaves an indelible impression on our ministry of healing.
