A Context for Inner Work
and the Reclining Jesus

Sunday, February 8, 2009
Friends Talking, the Rector's Forum, 10:00 am

About the Saturday evening lecture, Sims-Smith writes, "inner work is not a luxury item on the spiritual journey.  It is the core of the transformational process.  On that journey we develop a non-striving masculine who takes us to the interior "Wisdom's Gate."  The non-striving masculine is the reclining Jesus waiting for Wisdom, being guided by Wisdom and living life in harmony with Wisdom."

Maze is the retired Bishop of Arkansas and Sims-Smith has served as the Diocese's Canon for Special Ministries.
