Exploring Ultimate Reality and Ultimate Mystery
"The Basics" of Christianity

What I was taught as a child doesn't work for me anymore.
Can I rethink things?

I want an authentic spiritual life,
not just to believe what I'm told to believe.

I don't believe Buddhists are going to hell.
Can I still be a Christian?  (YES!)

We're looking for a church that will give our family a spiritual home
where we can question and grow and experience God's love.

Embracing An Adult Faith is a 5-week series about the Basics:
-- God -- Jesus -- Salvation -- Community -- Practice --

The study is grounded each week in a 10-minute DVD presentation by Marcus Borg followed by some frank, open conversation with a small group studying with Dr. Borg.  Borg is the Hundere Distinguished Professor of Religion and Culture at Oregon State University, author of many books, and two-time McMichael Lecturer at St. Paul's.

Borg presents a progressive form of Christian faith that is theologically and Biblically grounded, scholarly and deeply spiritual.

This class is especially for people who may have become disenchanted with Christianity or religion, but are curious and open to a more contemporary expression of faith.
No strings attached.
