"Caring Friends" Respite Ministry

Caring Friends is an outreach ministry offering 4 hours of respite care weekly for families who live with a loved one who has dementia or Alzheimer's disease.

We welcome up to 12 "Friends" to stay with us on Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  "Companions" play, exercise, sing, eat and do various fun and stimulating activities together with our Friend guests.  During that time their caregivers have an opportunity to attend to things that they need to do outside the home, and maybe have a nice, leisurely lunch.

To inquire about having your loved one participate with us as one of our Friends, please email respite@stpaulsfay.org

We welcome volunteers to be Companions who work with our guests, and volunteers to help prepare snacks and lunch in the kitchen.  More volunteer info from respite@stpaulsfay.org
