You do not need to be an accomplished teacher, you just need to be willing to work on reading and math skills with a child.

Tutors need to be regularly available from 3:45 till 5 pm Tuesday and/or Thursday.

Enrichment Volunteers are also needed from 2:45 till 4pm to
supervise free time, prepare snack, and lead the children from the school.

Adults, college students and teens over age 14 are welcome.

Supply Drives Individuals or Groups (University clubs, sororities and fraternities) wishing to contribute materials, an event or funding are invited to contact us. For example:

Supply Drive for Snacks: Granola bars, individual fruit cups, individual fruit snacks, cereal, marshmallows, candy, pretzels and snack mixes.


Supply Drive for Books: Picture books with plenty of text, easy chapter books, new or gently used. Also activity books for 3-5th grades, and flash cards.


Supply Drive for School Supplies: Pencils, Pens, Markers, Rulers, Scissors, Glue Stix, folders and spiral notebooks..
