Choral Evensong and Fellowship at City Park, Fayetteville

Sunday, May 24, 2026 • 5:30 p.m.

This Sunday, St. Paul’s will celebrate Pentecost with Choral Evensong, offering a service of prayer, scripture, and music shaped by the themes of the Holy Spirit’s presence and movement among God’s people. The choir will sing Dyson’s Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in C Minor, Gabriel Jackson’s Preces and Responses, and Herbert Howells’ anthem Holy Spirit, Ever Dwelling — music that reflects both the fire and the peace of Pentecost.

This Evensong also marks Jack’s final service before beginning a two-month sabbatical. As we give thanks for his ministry and pray for a season of rest and renewal, we invite the parish to gather in worship and fellowship together.

Following the service, all are welcome to continue the evening at City Park Fayetteville (1332 N Leverett Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72703). Inspired by the spirit of community and connection at the heart of Fayetteville itself, City Park offers a relaxed place to share conversation, food, and time together. (Read more about City Park here.) Come as you are, stay awhile, and celebrate this Pentecost evening with your St. Paul’s family.
