St. Paul’s Becoming Beloved Community ministry works to dismantle racism and foster healing, justice, and reconciliation within our parish and the wider community.
Caring Friends Respite Ministry
Caring Friends provides four hours of rest to those who take care of a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. We aim to break the cycle of isolation associated with this disease and provide a safe, secure, and stress-free environment for these loved ones.
Community Meals
Twice weekly, Community Meals serves a hot, balanced lunch to hungry people from all walks of life.
Community Meals Angel Basket
The Angel Basket collects scarves, hats, gloves, and socks, which are then gifted to our Community Meals guests at the annual Community Meals Christmas dinner.
CPC Book Sale
The CPC Book Sale is an annual event coordinated by our Episcopal Church Women. All proceeds benefit the Church Periodical Club.
Friendly Fridge
St. Paul’s Friendly Fridge, a companion to our Little Free Pantry, offers a grassroots, crowdsourced solution to immediate and local need. Located just outside the Welcome Center, this refrigerator can be accessed 24 hours a day and be filled with properly labeled, dated, and sealed items.
Harm Reduction
Harm Reduction aims to provide resources to help keep our community members safe (Narcan, condoms, helpline numbers). Harm reduction is normally available during Community Meals and can also be accessed through the front office, as available.
Justice for All
Justice for All helps to lower incarceration rates by supporting our fellow citizens with their court-related obligations prior to trial. Trained volunteers connect pre-trial defendants with social services and assist with reminders and transportation so that they may meet their appointments with the courts and avoid a devastating cycle of fines and fees.
Little Free Pantry
Little Free Pantry is a grassroots, crowdsourced solution to immediate and local need. Our pantry, located just outside the Welcome Center, can be filled with sealed, non-perishable items and accessed 24 hours a day.
Dick Johnston Children’s Camp
DJCC hosts kids age 8 - 12 years old who have at least one parent incarcerated. Children from all over Arkansas—many of whom would not otherwise have a summer camp experience—are invited to participate for free.
Queer Community of St. Paul’s
A Safe Haven for All
Queer Community of St. Paul’s is a newly-formed ministry giving space and voice to members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.
Sanctuary
Our Sanctuary ministry works to offer physical sanctuary to those at risk of immigration detainment or deportation.
Prison Story Project
Founded in 2012, the Prison Story Project empowers men and women to find their voices through poetry, storytelling, and song. Our mission is to bridge the gap between inmates and the communities they are members of through the healing art of story.
School Supply Drive
Our annual school supply drive collects new backpacks and supplies for local elementary school students as they start a new school year.
St. Martin’s Episcopal Center at the University of Arkansas
St. Martin’s provides an environment in which University of Arkansas students, faculty, and staff can pursue their personal spiritual growth and experience hospitality, fellowship, and worship.
Sunday Suppers
On the second Sunday of the month, our youth ministry leads Sunday Suppers, an outreach mission at Trinity Methodist Church that serves a hot meal our food insecure neighbors.
