Sacred Ground: An Invitation to Honest Conversation

Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starting October 16
St. Martin’s Episcopal Center
11 Week Series

Want to make sense of race, history, and your place in it? St. Paul’s invites you to join Sacred Ground, a powerful small-group series designed to foster deep reflection, conversation, and learning. Through a thoughtful blend of film, readings, and dialogue, participants will explore America’s racial history through the lens of faith, family, and identity.

This 11-week commitment provides space to ask hard questions, share your story, and listen to others with openness and humility. Participants often describe Sacred Ground as a transformative experience that helps them see their neighbors and themselves more clearly.

The group will meet on Thursdays from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at St. Martin’s Episcopal Center (814 W. Maple St.), beginning October 16 through November 20, and resuming in January to conclude. Each session will include a simple supper, offering both nourishment and fellowship around the table.

If you are curious about how history, faith, and identity intersect, and want to be part of a community of honest conversation and learning, Sacred Ground is for you. Contact Susie Norys – snorys1 (at) gmail.com – for more information, or sign up here to join.
