Here Comes the Sun: A Study on Faith, Hope, and Solar Energy
Sundays at 10:00 a.m. beginning November 2
“In the beginning, God said, ‘Let there be light.’” That same light continues to nurture and sustain all creation — and now, it’s illuminating new possibilities for how we care for the planet.
St. Paul’s Stewardship of Creation Committee invites you to a six-week reading and discussion of Here Comes the Sun by Bill McKibben. This inspiring and informative book explores the rapid growth of solar energy and the practical ways it can help us address the climate crisis. McKibben offers hopeful, real-world examples of how people around the world are harnessing the sun’s power to create a more sustainable future.
The group will meet on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room on November 2, 9, 23, 30, and December 7 and 14. Books will be available for purchase in the St. Paul’s Bookstore.
Whether you’re deeply concerned about climate change or simply curious about how faith and renewable energy intersect, you’re invited to join this thoughtful, hopeful conversation. Together, we’ll explore how God’s gift of light can inspire us to live more faithfully and sustainably in the world.
