Worship Opportunities for Rogationtide & Ascension Day

Saturday, May 9 at 9:00 a.m.
Thursday, May 14 at 5:30 p.m.

As we near the end of the Easter season, there are two special opportunities to worship together:

Rogation Days are traditionally observed on the days leading up to Ascension Day, and incorporate processions and prayers for agriculture, commerce, and industry. We will hold our Rogation Procession on Saturday, May 9, beginning at 9 am in the church. After marking the historic parish boundaries with stops for prayer, we will return to the church for the Litany and Eucharist.

Ascension Day, the fortieth day of the Eastertide, commemorates Jesus’ rising to heaven and the end of his physical presence on Earth. We will celebrate this feast on Thursday, May 14 at 5:30 pm in the church with a Eucharist. Following the service, we will go across the street for dinner and fellowship and Feed & Folly.
