Summer Choir
While Choir Club takes a break during the summer months, music continues each Sunday morning at St. Paul’s! Our Summer Choir for the 8:45 a.m. service is made up of singers from our kids choirs who enjoy sharing their gifts throughout the summer. The choir gathers at 8:15 a.m. before worship and sings a simple anthem or hymn during the offertory.
Summer Choir is also a wonderful opportunity for new singers to give choir a try. Children entering 3rd grade and older are invited to join us, whether they have sung with us before or are brand new to choir. There are no Wednesday rehearsals during the summer—just come on Sunday morning and sing with us.
We also welcome rising 2nd graders who would like to participate. Because sitting with the choir and taking part in the service can feel a little overwhelming at first, we ask that a parent sing alongside them. Having a familiar adult nearby helps younger singers feel comfortable and confident as they learn what it means to be part of the choir.
Adults who would like to sing are welcome as well. Join the Summer Choir at the 8:45 service, or sing with the 11:00 a.m. choir by arriving in the choir room at 10:15 a.m. Whether you're an experienced singer or simply curious about choir, summer is a great time to join us. We would love to welcome you!
