United Thank Offering Ingathering Coming July 12

Sunday, July 12

On Sunday, July 12, St. Paul's will celebrate its annual United Thank Offering (UTO) Ingathering by collecting and blessing our blue boxes and other gifts. The United Thank Offering is a longtime Episcopal tradition that invites us to notice God's blessings each day and respond with simple expressions of gratitude. Every coin, bill, or donation becomes a prayer of thanksgiving that is joined with gifts from Episcopalians across the Church.

This year's ingathering will take place using the Diocesan United Thank Offering alms basin, a cherished symbol of our shared ministry. The basin was created from gold and silver contributed by the women of the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas and serves as a reminder that our individual gifts become something greater when offered together. A brief history of the basin will be available in the Narthex on Sunday.

The offerings received through UTO support innovative grants for ministries of hope and healing throughout the Episcopal Church and around the world. These grants fund projects that meet local needs in creative ways, including initiatives focused on housing, clean water, education, health, and care for vulnerable communities.

If you've been filling a blue box over the past year, please bring it with you on Sunday. If you don't have a blue box, you're still invited to participate by making a gift as we gather in gratitude for God's many blessings.
