St. Paul’s Warming Shelter Ministry Orientation

St. Paul’s Warming Center ministry invites those interested in volunteering to attend a Volunteer Orientation Meeting on Thursday, January 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. This orientation is an important first step for anyone who would like to serve with the Warming Center this season.

The Warming Center is one way St. Paul’s lives out its call to hospitality and care for neighbors during the coldest months of the year. Volunteers play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming environment, and the orientation provides essential information, expectations, and training for those considering this ministry.

Attendance at an orientation is required before volunteering with the Warming Center. The meeting will cover how the ministry works, what volunteer roles look like, and how volunteers help support guests with dignity and compassion.

Those planning to attend are asked to sign up in advance using the online signup form:

All who feel called to learn more about this ministry are warmly encouraged to attend.
