Each of the four Gospels tells the story of Jesus in its own way. The Gospel of Matthew, from which we will be reading most Sundays this year, was held in particularly high esteem by the early Church and was long considered to be the first Gospel. In this three-week series, we will explore some of the unique features of Matthew as a way to prepare to “read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest” Matthew’s message for us.

Charles Martin will be teaching on January 4 and 11. Sara Milford will teach on January 18.
