The Zacchaeus Foundation invites you to a community screening of The Big Payback on Saturday, July 11, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
The Big Payback is an inspiring documentary that follows Alderman Robin Rue Simmons and her work to address the lasting impacts of redlining and the legacy of slavery through Evanston, Illinois' groundbreaking reparations program. The film offers an opportunity to explore questions of justice, history, and reconciliation through the story of one community's efforts to confront its past and build a more equitable future.
Whether you are new to these conversations or have been engaged in them for years, all are welcome to attend this thought-provoking afternoon of learning and reflection.
