St. Paul's Receives United Thank Offering Grant for Social Justice Outreach

St. Paul's Episcopal Church is honored to announce that we have received a $24,000 grant from the United Thank Offering (UTO) to support a new community initiative titled "Social Justice Outreach: Housing, Warrants, and Car Repairs."

This project, developed by parishioner David Jolliffe, will help connect members of our community with practical resources and educational opportunities that address barriers to stable housing and economic security.

Through this grant, St. Paul's will partner with Arkansas Renters United and the Arkansas Justice Reform Coalition to offer seminars on affordable housing, renters' rights, eviction awareness, and pathways to homeownership. The seminars will also explore how outstanding warrants and the lack of reliable transportation can create significant obstacles for individuals and families seeking safe housing and financial stability in Northwest Arkansas.

The United Thank Offering is a ministry of The Episcopal Church that encourages people to cultivate a daily practice of gratitude. Through the familiar UTO Blue Boxes, Episcopalians give thanks for the blessings in their lives by making thank offerings. Remarkably, 100% of those offerings are awarded each year as grants that support innovative mission and ministry throughout The Episcopal Church and the Provinces of the Anglican Communion.

We are deeply grateful to the United Thank Offering for investing in this important work. We also extend our thanks to David Jolliffe for leading the grant proposal process, along with the staff members and parish volunteers whose collaboration made this project possible.
