Jack Cleghorn to Perform April 30 – Summer Sabbatical Ahead
April 30, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. • Central United Methodist Church
We are delighted to share that our Organist/Choirmaster, Jack Cleghorn, has been accepted as a performer in the Spoleto Festival USA Music Festival Series this summer. This prestigious festival brings together outstanding musicians from around the world, and we are thrilled that Jack’s work has been recognized in this way.
Before he departs, Jack will offer a preview concert on Thursday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. This performance offers a wonderful opportunity to hear Jack in a recital setting and to support him as he prepares for this exciting engagement.
Jack will be on sabbatical from late May through late July. During this time, he will be participating in Spoleto Festival USA and continuing his musical work and study. We give thanks for the gifts he shares with St. Paul’s and are grateful for this opportunity for renewal and growth in his vocation.
For Jack, the inestimable value of sacred music becomes most clear when people of all ages come together to create something larger than themselves. His leadership has helped shape a music ministry at St. Paul’s that reflects this vision—bringing people into deeper connection with one another and with God through the shared work of music.
We hope you will join us on April 30 to celebrate and support Jack as he prepares for this next chapter.
