Choral Evensong, Celebration of University Graduates, and Game Night
Sunday, April 26, 2026 • 5:30 p.m.
Choral Evensong will be offered at St. Paul’s on Sunday, April 26 at 5:30 p.m. This service of prayer, music, and reflection marks the close of the day and invites us into a space of beauty and stillness.
At this Evensong, we will offer special prayers in celebration of graduates from the University of Arkansas, giving thanks for their work and commending them as they take their next steps. All are welcome to join in this time of recognition and prayer for those completing this important chapter.
The St. Paul’s Choir will sing a setting of the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis in G by Sumsion, along with Bairstow’s anthem “I Sat Down Under His Shadow.” We are also delighted to welcome the University of Arkansas “Razorbones” trombone ensemble, who will provide the voluntaries for the service.
Following Evensong, all are invited for a relaxed parish gathering. If the weather allows, we’ll enjoy croquet on the lawn; if not, we’ll move indoors for a casual game night. Bring a favorite game and a simple snack to share—something easy to serve, like cookies, chips, or finger foods. Whether you come for the music, to support our graduates, or simply to spend time together, we hope you will join us.
